Visit to a senior at her home

Here is the poem our 12 year old volunteer Hana wrote as we were sitting and talking to a senior at her home :

Weathered, red, dainty chair,

Against a wall of blue.
Plush fabric couches,
Worn, yet holding through.

Carpet; soft yet faded,
With a texture full of life,
Smooth under fingers touch,
Fibers neat and rife.

Comfortable and pleasant,
Small and tucked away.
Newcomers feeling right at home,

I'd visit any day!
